Still Waiting

Hi Everyone!! I have definitely learned something about myself these days...I have patience!! We still haven't heard anything. We really believed that we would be travelling in October but it doesn't look like it. The SDA has started with appointments with dossiers already registered and apparently things are going well. We are still on the waiting list and believe me I will post as soon as I hear something. One thing I did hear is that the Adoption Centre will be closing again for a few weeks. They need this time to go through the dossiers and to make sure that all registered families are still interested in adopting from Ukraine.
My boys are well. Started school and back to routine. I must admit that our family NEEDS rountine. We function better individually and as a family.
In my previous posts when I mentioned that our life was in limbo because of the possible travel to Ukraine we put many things off including re-doing our driveway..well guess what we started. In a way it is sad for me because it concludes that we will not be travelling soon and that life does go on not only for us but for that innocent little girl also....waiting patiently for us.
I have a new little nephew born yesterday ..... he is adorable.
I haven't posted in awhile because there isn't anything new about the adoption just the same old "waiting game". I thought I should let everyone know that. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
